For many people, making plans for their passing can be something they want to put off as long as possible. Although you may not want to think of such things until a certain age, it can be very beneficial to set up a will so your property and belongings will be passed along to your loved ones. 

At The Law Offices of Jan Gomerman, we will be able to assist in the writing of a will and we will be happy to give you advice based upon our years of experience with preparing wills. A will designates who gets your assets upon your passing and names an executor to handle your estate.

Probate is the process that must take place after someone passes. The will must be submitted to surrogates court to be verified so that the executor named in the will can be given the power needed to distribute the assets of the estate.
